Photographic Memories

Sometimes a photo is just a record. A memory.

This photograph was taken last week of me, my little girl Ava and my cat Suzy. If I look sad, I was. I had to take my cat to the vet for the last time. She had been my kitten for 18 years and was dying of cancer.

She was with me through the high and lows. The college years, poor struggling photographer days, moves, successes, marriage and kids.

I’ll miss my kitty. Fortunately, I have my family. I have Ava who loves her Daddy and I have picture in my wallet to remember.

It took this photo using a self timer and only had 10sec.
