I have a cool job

I’m in Northern Alberta, Canada, photographing the oil sands projects.  Below are a few photographs.

I had the opportunity to spend time riding in one of the huge dump trucks.  The tires are over twice the height of an average person.  They load up to 450 tons each trip –375 tons on my trips in it.

I have one more day of shooting here and then I’m off to Vancouver to photograph the building for the Olympics.  I’m really enjoying myself in this beautiful country up here.
