Location, construction and industrial photography is about the people

I really enjoy travel photography.  I also enjoy photographing Union workers across the United States and Canada. This trip was no exception.  I was in Northern Alberta and Vancouver for about a week.   I spent time in Alberta photographing around Fort McMurray and the oil sands area.  In Vancouver I photographed the construction for the 2010 Olympics.

We were treated really well.  We enjoyed wonderful hotels and lots of food.  All the people we met were truly a joy to work with.

I’m getting better at going up high on the scissors lifts.  I think New York was the roughest; shooting 50 story buildings makes everything else seem easy.

Below are some of my favorite shots.  I took about 2,250 images.  I have to narrow it down to about 500 for my client.  The next event is in Ann Arbor and then I head to Colorado in September or October (that is the current plan)
